Last January took place the ELSE Worshop in Nice, a city of France. ELSE is the acronym for European Leadership for Safety Education, a project initiated by The Côte d’Azur University (UCA),
which is the lead applicant, the co-applicant ENSTTI and with the support of a key contractor, J Repussard Conseil.
And today, the scientific report of this workshop is now available. As a result, you can download it at the end of this article.
As a reminder, the ELSE project aims to develop a new science-based approach for education in the domain of safety leadership, with the combination of scientific and empirical knowledge.
And the workshop served a double objective:
In this context, the workshop was organized around two types of session: group work on predefined themes and collective debriefing.
At the end of this article, you can find an example of a poster on which was formalized the synthesis of each session. Thereby, each group presented the conclusions of its collective work.
Moreover, next to the poster, you have an illustration that presents the co-creation process used during this workshop.
In addition to the results of the workshop, you can find a brief presentation of all the participants, and an interview which allows you to understand all points of view concerning especially the difference between Safety Leadership and Leadership for Safety.
For instance, David DENYER, professor of Leadership and Organizational Change at Cranfield School of Management,
and Colin PILBEAM, reader in Safety Leadership in the Safety and Accident Investigation Centre at Cranfield University, were two of the participants.
ENSTTI is proud to present you its new course named “Leadership for Safety Advanced Educational Course” in partnership with The Côte d’Azur University.
This training should start on January 2021, of course if international travel restrictions allow it. The link bellow tells you all the information about this course.
And we remain at your disposal for any questions you may have.
